No stable electricity infrastructure was available. The investor faced a problem with the electricity supply of the new building. The chosen place was perfect for the purposes of the post station, but the closest electricity substation was placed 25 km away. A decision had to be made whether to invest a big amount of money in building of new substation or to produce locally the energy and the new factory to be supplied off-grid.
BOSIN calculated the energy needs of the new building and proposed a hybrid off-grid system mainly operating from the sun energy. The small post station to become green and nearly 100% power independent and the equipment (servers, PC, surveillance cameras, TVs, etc.) to become fully protected against power outages and electrical grid disturbances like overvoltage, under voltage, spikes, surges, etc.
The Hybrid power system is working very reliable and without problems all seasons. Full power independence has been achieved. With the expected battery exchange period of approximately 8 years the power supply system is practically maintenance free.
